360 Music Video Challenge

Four Northern California college film departments will put together a team of filmmakers to represent their school in the making of a 360 Music Video.  The teams will each be given the same previously unreleased music track and will have 5 days to create a true-360 degree music video.

FILMMAKERS CHALLENGE

Four Northern California high schools will each create a filmmaking team made up five students to represent their school. On Sunday, November 2 at 11:00 am, PAH orientation day, Christopher Coppola will announce the Filmmakers Challenge story theme and give the shooting and editing rules. Each competing Filmmakers Challenge high school team will also be given the “CRC List of Ingredients” which informs the teams what equipment they will be allowed to use, what shots have to be included, what mystery prop has to be in a scene. The Filmmakers Challenge contest helps young filmmakers to learn how to adapt quickly and stay on their feet. They will have one day to write the script and prep, one day of filming and two days of editing, mixing and finishing. The theme and list of ingredients will be posted on this website so the PAH audience can see what these young filmmakers are up against.
